  1. Application for Funding.

The representative from The Millennium Green Committee explained that they were applying for the grant from the Parish Council to cover the grass cutting, weed spraying and shrub trimming for this year as they had been unable to fundraise due to Covid. Hopefully, there will be a fund-raising event later in the year.

They have enough in the reserves to pay for the funds needed but this will reduce the reserves that are ear marked for work to trees, which need to be conducted every 3-5 years.

The Parish Council were slightly disappointed that the smaller annual requests had ceased, and they were suddenly presented with a larger amount.

The amount was discussed, and it was resolved to pay a grant of £500 to the Millennium Green. Clerk to pay £500
