Heydour, Aisby and Oasby Parish Council 

Minutes from meeting Tuesday 15th February 2022.

 

Councillors present: Cllrs, Kennedy, Neville, Peace, Taylor and Turner

In attendance: Parish Clerk Boden and one member of the public.

 

The Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting

 

PUBLIC FORUM: Mr. Hatcliff had been in touch with the Woodland Trust but due to the number of trees that are required they cannot help under the schemes, but the selection and purchasing of individual trees can be arranged with them.

It was resolved that the Parish Council would contribute up to £50 for four saplings.

It was felt that the three main groups of the Millennium Green, the Church and the Village Hall plant the trees. A meeting of these groups needs to be coordinated. The clerk can investigate any grants available. Clerk to research grants.

It was resolved that apologies be accepted from Cllr Ballaam.

It was resolved to accept the Clerk's notes.

22029. PLANNING MATTERS.
S22/0101 – Pending
S21/2338 – Pending ‘No Comments’ submitted
S22/0133 – It was resolved the clerk write to SKDC expressing the Council’s concerns on the amended application following a refusal. Clerk to prepare and submit comments and statement of objection.

22031. CLERK’S UPDATE.
The playground has been cleaned and the cheque agreed as above. Mr. Dawson from Anglian Water has been chased regarding the requested information, from the last meeting.
There are grants available from the National Lottery regarding the Queen’s Jubilee Celebration. Clerk to research.
 
22032. QUEEN’S JUBILEE – TREE PLANTING. 
This item has been covered in the Public Session.
 
22033. POTHOLES.
Repairs have been made to the potholes on Kings Street but the state of the roads in general are poor. As at the meeting on the 11th of January Cllr Hill had explained the Highway’s shortfall.
 
22034. VERGE CUTTING - MILL LANE AND GENERAL.
As discussed at the last meeting LCC will cut 3 times a year but the clerk is to research the price of contractors for other periods. Clerk to research.
 
22035. FLOOD PREVENTION SCHEME
It was resolved that there were not enough people to run the scheme successfully.
 
22036. AISBY SEWER PROJECT.
Anglian Water are carrying out flow tests throughout Aisby. Residents have been given a questionnaire and should be encouraged to complete them.
 
22037. PARISH COUNCIL EMAIL ADDRESSES.
LALC have been encouraging Council’s to use .gov email addresses rather than normal family email addresses for security and professionalism. Clerk to look at costings for the next meeting.
 
22038. Date and Detail for Annual Meeting.
It was resolved to carry it forward to the next meeting. 
 
22039. Work Plan.
It was resolved that the clerk distributes the work plan with every agenda.
 
COUNCIL TO DECIDE IF THEY ARE TO MOVE INTO CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS OTHER MATTERS.
